Working Principle

There are some good reasons for guitarists and bassists not to rely on in-ear monitoring, but to have speakers on stage. As a guitarist you want to be able to play with feedback, as a bassist you not only want to hear the deep tones, but also feel them. Unfortunately, this type of amplification carries a risk: Little by little it gets louder and louder as the evening progresses because you want to hear yourself better and keep "turning it up". With the unpleasant effect that at some point only the guitar can be heard on stage. And the spectators in the first rows only hear the bass. The cause is clear: The higher frequencies that are needed to recognize the tones come out of the loudspeakers in a highly directional manner. And where they are radiated from a normal box, humans have no ears. To change that, you can build adventurous towers and putbthe cabinet on then. Or you choose the better way and switch to a TiefToener cabinet. In all models, there´s an upward-firing speaker in addition to the front speaker(s). In this way you can always hear yourself equally well, regardless of whether you are standing far in front of, directly in front of or even next to the speaker. Due to the bi-directional radiation, the cabinets from TiefTeoner are vastly superior to all others in terms of their monitor qualities. As a result, the volume drops and the sound improves as a result - both on stage and in the rehearsal room.
